Dele Alli and Danny Rose of Tottenham

Tottenham had to deal with disappointment yet again in an FA Cup semi-final thanks to their loss against Chelsea. It certainly is hard to lose an FA Cup semi but losing to one of the biggest rivals isn’t the best feeling in the world and Dele Alli has stated that the club will come back stronger.

Spurs did have some great moments in the game and Dele Alli did score a beautiful goal to make the scoreline 2-2 before Chelsea ran away with the game.

The Englishman, who has been in exceptional form this season, tweeted to the fans to thank them for their support.

Alli did play the entire game and has been wonderful for Tottenham this season with 20 goals and 11 assists. Spurs might be upset at the loss but have come a long way this season and could have taken the lead in the FA Cup tie.

Willian had scored a brace but Kane and Alli ensured Chelsea didn’t lead for a long time. It was Eden Hazard who scored the third goal for the Blues before Nemanja Matic scored a stunner to settle the tie late in the game.

Alli seems to be going from strength to strength this season and the loss could get Tottenham back on track as they look to win the Premier League title.

It won’t be easy as we face in-form Crystal Palace, who had just beaten Liverpool. Chelsea and Arsenal have lost to the Eagles in recent weeks but should we win away from home, the pressure will be right back on the Blues and hopefully get them to crack a couple of times before the season ends.
