“I’m done, LOL” – Tottenham Fans React As Spurs Are Rumoured With Right-back To Replace Kyle Walker

Published

Tottenham’s Kyle Walker could be one high profile exit from the London club in the summer and it is being reported by The Mirror that Bournemouth’s Adam Smith is the man to replace Walker at White Hart Lane.

The Bournemouth right-back might not be the biggest name in the Premier League but he has had a solid season for the Cherries, who will continue playing in the Premier League next season.

There are many who would claim that Smith is a downgrade on Walker and with Kieran Trippier doing well for Spurs, the Bournemouth player could be a decent number two to have in the side, especially due to the fact that he has recorded more assists (5) this season than any other defender in the Premier League.

Smith hasn’t made it to Tottenham yet and neither are there any concrete quotes to support the claim but that didn’t stop Spurs fans taking to Twitter and reacting to the rumours of the Bournemouth player joining the club.

There was a mixed reaction to Smith’s rumour and here are some of the Tweets shared by Tottenham fans.

    Who even invented this link?
    It is nonesene!

I am not absolutely certain, but I believe moving Kyle Walker-Peters up will be the likely replacement. He is very highly rated and last season Poch moved him up to training with the first team squad – which is exactly what he did with Harry Winks the previous season.
