Transfer news always kindle some kind of feeling within the fans. It could either be excitement, or curiosity, and most of the times, hope. However, this time though, it looks like a particular piece of transfer speculation has bored the fans as they have grown tired of this one particular meaningless speculation that has been doing the rounds on the internet.
The Sun claimed that Eric Dier, Kyle Walker, and Danny Rose were set to leave the club. It said that the players could potentially double their wages at the Manchester clubs, who were reported to be the interested parties for luring the English trio away from Tottenham.
All the three players are important in the Tottenham setup and it has been evident from the way Pochettino has used them. It would rather be hard to replace anyone and with the new stadium move all set to happen, Tottenham would have their hands tied when it comes to spending money on transfers.
However, the fans did not seem to bother about this unbelievable speculation. Certainly, The Sun would have written this piece of news with a hope of creating waves among the fans, but it looks like that wasn’t the case to be!
Here’s how the fans reacted on Twitter,

When Dele said the other day no guarantees the press totally ignored the fact he also said he could stay at the Spurs the rest of his career

Love @Carra23 saying no Spurs player should want to leave us atm. And he’s right, why would you wana leave?!

Spurs score 6 goals away from home and NBC still spend more time talking about how our players are going to leave..

We simply have to keep this team together. Alli, Kane, Toby, Jan, Dier, Eriksen, Son, Hugo, Rose & Walker would walk into any team. Pay them
— JT (@JamesTaylorAG) May 18, 2017
LMAO that’s blatantly false why would they leave when spurs are better than the Manchester clubs https://t.co/GvUEy4kda8
