Tottenham appear to be keen on finishing their transfer business early, as fresh reports have claimed that the club are preparing a £30 million offer for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha. Even though the season is yet to conclude with the likes of the Champions League final and the FA Cup final still yet to be played, Spurs have already focusing on the next campaign. Wilfried Zaha has once again caught the attention of the top clubs after managing to impress at Crystal Palace. His failed to spell at Manchester United does not seem to be playing on the minds of interested clubs.
Guardian Sport’s deputy news editor Ed Aarons revealed the news on his Twitter account. He said that the Lilly whites are still interested in signing the speedster.

Spurs are very keen on strengthening the squad in order to handle competition on all four fronts next season. After once again managing to finish in the top four, we will be playing in the Champions League group stages next season. More importantly, we will have to win a major trophy in order to keep silverware-searching players like Dele Alli and Harry Kane quiet. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is clearly aware that the club needs to strengthen in several areas of the pitch in order to have a squad that is capable of aiming for a trophy while also maintaining the progress in the Premier league.
Zaha comes on the back of a brilliant campaign with Crystal Palace. His exploits were a major factor behind keeping the club in the Premier League. However, the London outfit now face an uncertain future after the departure of manager Sam Allardyce. Rather than staying at Selhurst Park and fighting in another Premier League relegation battle, there is every chance that Zaha can opt a move to a bigger club. His last attempt at establishing himself at a top club ended in a major disappointment, as he left Manchester United after making only two Premier league appearances for the Red Devils.
The 2016-17 season, though, has given him a lot of confidence. He has been able to score 7 goals and create 11 assists in just 35 league games this season. There is no doubt that Zaha’s figures will be much better if he was to play for a top club like Tottenham. Spurs, though, are aware that the club cannot sign the winger for a bargain, as the player still has more than three years left on his contract with Crystal Palace.
