Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha was heavily linked (ESPN) with a move to Tottenham and speculations were rife about his future. A lot of them believed that Spurs would sign Zaha but apparently, it looks like the Palace star has signed a contract extension with the club.
The Ivorian has signed a new 5-year contract (BBC) extension with the club, putting an end to all the rumours surrounding his future. Certainly, this is not a blow to Tottenham as Zaha would have hardly improved the squad that is already at our disposal. Zaha was linked with Tottenham so many times but it should all stop now as his future has been settled.
We do need some strengthening on the flanks but it is hardly even a question if Zaha would have been the man. He is surely not the player who we need.
