Tottenham fans will get a taste of world-renowned culinary delights when the club’s new £800 million stadium is complete.
The Standard reports that we have signed up three generations of the Roux family, who will provide dining to fans for 12 matches a season when the new stadium opens.
Michel Roux Jr will be joined by his father Albert and his daughter Emily as the trio will be responsible for creating menus and delivering a world-class experience. Of course, this is for fans who are set to pay at least £250 for premium packages in the fourth-level On Four suites.
Even fans at the H Club will have a chance to dine with former players at the player’s table or even with the chef at the chef’s tables. For those not in the know, the Roux family are known for opening the first two restaurants in Britain that hold three Michelin stars.
Michel Jr, was quoted by the Standard as saying:
“We believe the new stadium will be an amazing new sport and entertainment destination for London so we’re thrilled to be part of it.
“We can’t wait to wow football fans with the broad range of dining experiences that will be on offer and help to make each match day even more memorable.”
Even the Tottenham management were extremely excited with this “signing”.
Andy O’Sullivan, Tottenham’s hospitality director, added:
“Visitors will be exposed to the amazing atmosphere that White Hart Lane was famous for, while also having access to exceptional dining experiences that have never been seen before in a stadium.
“We are hugely excited to have partnered with the Rouxs and look forward to working with them to offer guests something truly special.”
The new stadium certainly is adding more facilities that will make it one of the best match day venues in the world. Only time will tell how the team plays in the new stadium but for now, things are looking up for us and for the other concerts and NFL games that will be held here.
