Tottenham’s French flop Moussa Sissoko surprisingly got a run, out on the pitch, as France took on Paraguay in a friendly. To everyone’s surprise, the man who didn’t score for Tottenham all season scored 30 minutes after being introduced on to the pitch.
France thrashed Paraguay by a 5-0 margin and Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud scored a hattrick. However, it was Sissoko’s goal that stole the limelight.
It was rather shocking how Sissoko went missing all season and suddenly came to life when representing his country. Probably commitment makes the difference. What else could the reason be?
Just like most of the fans, I share the opinion too, that Moussa Sissoko needs to be sold this summer no matter what. The man simply doesn’t seem to be interested in performing for Tottenham and his attitude has been quite bad. He isn’t up for a fight and thinks that he deserves to walk into the Tottenham XI without performing well.
The Spurs faithful were vocal as always on Twitter and reacted to Sissoko scoring a goal for France. Fans of other clubs reacted to the goal too. Such is the rarity of a Sissoko goal. We managed to gather few tweets and put them together.
Decent goal from Sissoko.. Powerful run into the box, finished in the corner. Now sell the wasteman!
