It’s out! We’d have all been eager to know the Premier League fixtures for the 2017/18 season and it was released earlier today. After a couple of nerve-racking seasons where we came agonisingly close to winning the league, it is time for us to fill ourselves with optimism all over again. It is a new season, a new beginning, and whatever happened last season doesn’t count, irrespective of whether a team was successful or not.
We begin the season against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park and then host defending champions Chelsea on the 2nd game week. We finish the month of August at home to Burnley. The next big game after August comes in October, where we host Liverpool at Wembley. We then travel to Old Trafford the following game week and then visit Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal, who finished 5th in the table last season.
We face Chelsea once again in the month of March and also face Manchester City at the Etihad in April. The campaign ends at home to Leicester City and hopefully, the title win is sealed by then.
The fans were joyous at the fixtures being released and took Twitter to express their opinion on the same. A lot of fans were eager for the Arsenal games to arrive and invariably, everyone was filled with positivity. Here are some interesting tweets we came across. Read on!

It’s important to start the season well and be the leading early on. The run-in doesn’t look too bad. Main factor is adapting to Wembley.

I don’t think the fixture list is too bad. Easy start (except Chelsea), easy Christmas period, easy last 4 games. #TottenhamFixtures
