The speculation has been rife about Kyle Walker and news about the Englishman keeps emerging almost every day. It now seems almost certain that he is off to Manchester City with Manchester Evening News confirming that Guardiola’s club are set to open talks this week.
However, one of the fans came up with an interesting tweet that claimed that Walker himself had pledged to stay at Tottenham. Of course, the authenticity of this cannot be determined as it could be the act of a true Spurs fan who probably wanted to calm things down a little bit.
The fan posted a picture of his family posing with Kyle Walker who was on his holiday. Personally, though, I believe that Walker has his mind set on leaving us, and a transfer looks almost certain.
Here’s what was tweeted by the guy. (h/t Football.London)
So family bumped into Kyle walker and when asked said he doesn’t want to leave Spurs pic.twitter.com/aKqp8kYGC3

This guy has a point!
If this was true he would have acted differently on social media. Like dismissing the rumours. Like Eriksen did.
