A giant billboard with a picture of a player wearing what looks like the new Tottenham Hotspur kit has been erected outside the new stadium that is under construction.
The huge picture has been put up earlier this week, outside one of the few remaining buildings in the exteriors of the White Hart Lane end within the construction site – the building that is set to be turned into the Tottenham Experience Centre, a museum that will contain everything Spurs.
The massive image has been placed in such a way that that the middle portion of the billboard is completely covered, with just the arms of the player donning the strip visible, in what could be an attempt from the club to tease the fans over the launch of the new kit ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Tottenham are expected to announce their new kit deal with Nike in a short time, as their contract with current sponsors Under Armour will be expiring at the end of the month.
Despite there not being any official announcement as of yet, a lot of Spurs’ Nike merchandise have been leaked across the market. The home and away kits have been spotted on sale in the United States of America and Sports Direct has also put the latest Tottenham training wear on sale, earlier than expected.
The identity of the player wearing the new strip is also not revealed with many speculating that it could be star striker and last season’s Golden Boot winner Harry Kane on the billboard.
