Tottenham finally unveiled their new kits which are being manufactured by Nike. Gone are the days of Under Armour being our kit providers and to be honest, the swoosh of the Nike logo does look a different class on the current jersey.
There is one major change on the new jersey and that is our cockerel is now encapsulated within a shield, which does give a nice aesthetic touch.
The home shirts are all in the lily-white of Spurs while the away jersey takes up a dark blue tinge. There is also ‘2017-18’ and ‘Spurs’ knitted at the back as we plan to play one entire year’s home games at Wembley.
Hugo Lloris also sees a bit of a change in colour as he wears an all yellow kit rather than an all blue one like last season.
Spurs will debut their new kits against French club Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly on July 22. There certainly is a lot of excitement with the new kit deal coming into effect from next season and with a new stadium on the horizon too, things are looking great for us on the sponsors front.
There were a lot of updates on the official Twitter handle too as a number of players shared images of trying on the new kit and it does look rather classy.

The kit was launched at midnight by artist AJ Tracy as he too wore the new kit and got the party started.

With all the off-field attention on the stadium and the kit, we need to remember the on-field stuff too. Spurs have not signed any players so far this season and even though we have a decent enough squad, there has to be more additions if we are to win any silverware next season.
Harry Kane, Dele Alli and a number of other players are in the form of their lives and it would be a poor season this time around if we don’t actually pick up a trophy.
If we do win something, at least we will have some classier kits to go out with this time around.
