Tottenham are interested in signing Kelechi Iheanacho from Manchester City, according to reports from the Sun.
The outlet claims that we are willing to outbid Leicester City for the Nigerian striker and that are willing to include the Nigerian striker in a player plus cash deal for Kyle Walker, who is wanted by the Citizens.
The striker from City could be used as a makeweight for the deal and with Pep Guardiola interested in Walker, the deal could take place. The report also claims that £30million plus Iheanacho will be enough for Walker to move the other way.
There were a number of fans who are excited with the protracted move for the City striker, who does have a great goals to minutes ratio. Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter, regarding the deal.
If we keep all our players and add Barkley and Iheanacho I would be happy. You? #thfc #spurstransferwindow

Would be happy with Lopez, Iheanacho, Gray & Meyer. Fits with our recruitment policy & adds some depth to the squad. Poch can work his magic https://t.co/k3pfW7ZnPR

Don’t understand why Spurs couldn’t get Iheanacho without letting Walker go? Surely we could afford £20m?

the Iheanacho rumour is the first one I have really liked this summer – pity it’s probably rubbish like all transfer stories lol #COYS

if we get 40/50 million and iheanacho for player that, as much as i love him, wants to go, it would be an excellent deal #coys

In an ideal world @SpursOfficial would take 30m plus Kelechi Iheanacho for Walker and 30m plus Anthony Martial for Dier #COYS

Of all the deals we haven’t done this summer it’s Kelechi Iheanacho that is the most disappointing. He’s absolutely perfect #COYS

Iheanacho and Perisic two players who would greatly improve us and not unrealistic targets we should really be getting involved #THFC #COYS
