Tottenham Keen To Sign £500,000 Manchester City Youngster They Wanted To Be Included In Walker’s Deal

Jadon Sancho

It seems like Tottenham have still not given up on Jadon Sancho, as a report from the Daily Mail has suggested that we are keenly monitoring his situation after he didn’t show up at the City’s training ground on several occasions after Pep Guardiola decided not to include him in the club’s pre-season tour of the US.

Regarded as one of the most brightest England U20 internationals, Sancho also has Bundesliga outfits Red Bull Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund vying for his signature. Given the fact that they are known for developing young talents, it is safe to say that the 17-year-old has a big decision to make.

Furthermore, an exclusive story from the Daily Telegraph reports that City have already offered Sancho a mouth-watering first professional contract, but he might well refuse it, amidst interest from fellow Premier League sides and from other European clubs as well.

If by any chance you don’t know, Tottenham asked to include Sancho, who joined City from Watford for a fee of around £500,000, in Kyle Walker’s £50million move to the Etihad. But with City rating him highly, they refused to allow him to travel the other way. But with Sancho now willing to reject any new offers from City, Tottenham expect that they have a chance once again.

But then again, Tottenham aren’t the only Premier League club monitoring his progress, as Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are in the foray as well. It is being reported that Arsenal have been tracking Sancho for the past 12 months and the fact that his best friend, Reiss Nelson, is at Arsenal could well turn out to be a clincher for the Gunners.

Sancho, who was the player of the tournament at Under-17 European Championships, is known for his blistering pace and eye catching dribbling skills. Besides, the 17-year-old poses a deadly goal scoring threat as well. Guardiola used the likes of Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz during their pre-season tour to the US and the duo impressed the Spaniard so much that he went on to describe the former as a “gift”. Diaz, on the other hand, got his name on the scoresheet scored in City’s win against Real Madrid and Tottenham.

Sancho would be an amazing inclusion to our setup and Poch shouldn’t miss out on an opportunity to sign another gem of an English youngster. (Pictures Dele Alli in mind)
