In a major boost to Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the weekend clash against West Ham United, defender Ben Davies has been reported to be fit to return to action.
The Argentine manager was interacting with the media at his weekly media briefing on Thursday afternoon and indicated that the player is ‘ready to play’ at the London stadium, as quoted by freelance Spurs journalist Ben Pearce on his Twitter account.

The fans were obviously delighted at the news and the return of the left-back, after he missed the last two games due to an ankle injury that he sustained during the Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.
The Welshman is an integral part of Pochettino’s success as the Argentine banks on him as his wing-back. Without a recognised winger in the set-up, the wing-backs become crucial in Pochettino’s system.
No wonder then that the fans are rejoicing at the news, and we picked up some interesting comments flying around on Twitter.
UNLEASH GENTLE BEN.
