These are exciting times for us all. The performances on the field are only getting better as Mauricio Pochettino’s men are slowly bidding adieu to the poor early season form. The European form is picking up too as was evident in the recent showing against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
To top it all, the fortunes at Wembley are also showing winds of change with the 4-1 drubbing of Liverpool showing that the ‘Wembley curse’ could be a thing of the past. Although it is too early to say that, as a fan, it is exciting to see improved performances.
Off the pitch, the story is the same, as news about the new stadium development continue to hog the headlines. Tottenham have released some latest photos of the new stadium of the White Hart Lane which show a lot of activity.
Work is currently underway on the gigantic south single-tier stand and photos show the cranes assisting with the installation of the steel girders. Looking at these, it seems like it won’t be long before the south stand gets connected to the rest of the bowl.
It is still work in progress but one can’t help but imagine how beautiful the new stadium would look like when the seats are installed.
There were reports earlier in the month that the construction could be delayed and Tottenham may not move into their new £800m stadium in time for the start of 2018/19 season. However, there is no official confirmation on this.
Looking at the latest construction development, it would be safe to say that all efforts are underway to make sure that the construction is finished on time. It would obviously depend on how the activity would progress during the winter but for now, stay back and enjoy these lovely pictures!
