Tottenham could be looking to sign one of the most promising Dutch players in Justin Kluivert. If the name sounds a little familiar, the player is actually the son of Patrick Kluivert, who played for the national side and also was a star for Ajax and Barcelona.

Justin, like his father, also plays for Ajax and is also an attacker. Justin, however, is a winger while his father was a striker, and a pretty good one that during his playing days.

The report from Sky Sports claims that we are tracking the 18-year-old and the player already seems to have a number of teams keeping him on their radar. One such team is Manchester United and the report claims that Jose Mourinho had spoken to the player after last season’s Europa League final which Ajax lost to United.

Kluivert primarily plays as a right winger and has made seven appearances in the Dutch league for Ajax. The 18-year-old has one assist to his name and his stock is rising with every game going under his belt.

While United tried their best to sign a few more players in the summer window, they do have some advantage when it comes to bringing Kluivert to Old Trafford. Mino Raiola, the powerful agent, who has a number of United clients such as Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, is also Kluivert’s representative.

However, we all know how Manchester United treat their youngsters and maybe moving to United would not be the best decision from a player that needs to have a manager that can work with young talents.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown time and again that he is willing to give a chance to a player if he is good enough and we have seen many players break into the first-team after doing well for the youth or reserve side.

Kluivert still has a lot to learn about playing for a big side and it will be tough to pry him away without a fight but we did sign Davinson Sanchez from the club and that could very well be our ticket to getting the highly rated youngster to London.
