Josh Onomah has had a pretty decent season since moving to Aston Villa on loan from Tottenham. The Englishman was not going to get a lot of playing time this season at Spurs but he has taken his chance really well for the Championship side.
The 20-year-old has scored 3 goals and has an assist to his name this season, which is not a bad return from 16 Championship games.
While many Villa fans would have wanted him to remain at the club and make his loan move a permanent one, the Englishman revealed that he wants to return to Tottenham once his loan deal comes to an end.
The move to Villa is working out for everyone now and if Onomah continues getting better and gets the performances in, Mauricio Pochettino might give him a chance in the first-team next season.
The player’s decision to come back to Spurs soon certainly got a lot of fans speaking up and here are some of the reactions from Twitter.
