Tottenham winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has completed his move to Sean Dyche’s Burnley on loan for the rest of the season, the clubs have officially confirmed.
The 22-year-old former Nantes man joined Tottenham back in August 2016 from Marseille after Daniel Levy compromised on a lower fee with the Ligue 1 club. The France U-21 international made 17 appearances for the Lilywhites last season, but could only manage 6 appearances this season – with all of them coming from the bench.
As far as Burnley are concerned, manager Sean Dyche has added N’Koudou as a cover for injured Robbie Brady. Everton’s Aaron Lenon was thought to be Dyche’s another target but the 46-year-old decided to go for N’Koudou. Talking about the move, N’Koudou revealed that it was his Tottenham teammate Kieran Trippier, former Burnley man, who encouraged him to seal the move.

Still baffles me why @gknkoudou never got a look in. Only attacker in the team with pace and now we loan him out

Can you take Trippier too
— Paddy Geoghegan (@Paddygeoghegan7) January 9, 2018
Good move for him. Hopefully he gets plenty of game time and comes back a better player or is sold for a profit in the summers
