Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has revealed he has some of the Premier League’s bigwigs tracking him.

England’s top teams like Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool all remain keen on signing the midfielder at the end of the season.

Since signing for the Hornets in 2016, Doucoure has impressed at Vicarage Road this season. He has been a driving force from the start of the season, top scoring for Watford with seven goals and providing three assists.

The French midfielder of Malian descent has stood out for Watford and notably impressive in the 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea earlier this month.

Doucoure’s rapid rise this season has seen him garner attention from some of the big clubs in England. And the midfielder has claimed the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in signing him.

“It’s true that these clubs are interested. But I’m at Watford for the moment and I want to finish my season well,” Doucoure told Telefoot (h/t the Daily Star).

Doucoure is an underrated player in the Premier League, quietly making his name with Watford. Now under new manager Javi Gracia, the French midfielder has admitted he and his teammates are ready to give everything to help the Hornets avoid relegation this season.

“Every player wants to fight and every player has a new chance to impress,” Doucoure was quoted by the Sun.

Well, it looks like Doucoure could leave Vicarage road in summer with a host of Premier League clubs vying for his signature. If Spurs are really interested in signing him, they must go ahead with it because he seems like a quality player.

Twitter was on fire after the latest news and this is how Tottenham fans reacted after coming across this rumour.
