Taking a break from the insistent rigours of his day to day job, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane enjoyed a night out with fiancée Katie Goodland at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old was tasked to present one of the awards with famous pop star Camila Cabello. Kane took to the stage alongside Camila Cabello to announce the winner of the Best International Male Solo Artist award, which went to Kendrick Lamar.

But before Kane climbed up to the podium, BRITS host Jack Whitehall aimed a cheeky dig at the Spurs forward.

Whitehall, who is an Arsenal fan, couldn’t help but poke fun at the striker and his club.

“Our next presenters are a pop superstar and a Tottenham striker,” Whitehall was quoted by the Daily Mirror.

“[This means] the BRIT award he hands over tonight will probably be the only trophy he gets his hands on this season… it’s Harry Kane and Camila Cabello.”

The introduction got a funny reaction from the audience at London’s O2 Arena. After appearing in the star-studded event, Kane is back in action with Spurs as Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace this weekend.

The England international has been in spectacular form this campaign, having already netted 34 goals in all competitions.

Kane, who also recently entered the Premier League’s 100-goal bandwagon, would be eager to increase his growing tally with a goal against the Eagles.

Kane tweeted a picture of him and Camila Cabello later on Wednesday night saying:

‘A great night at the #Brits and an honour to present an award – @Camila_Cabello. #BritAwards’.

Here we bring you some of the hilarious reactions to Kane’s tweet.
