Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane could walk into any team in the world, claims Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. Kane has enjoyed another fantastic season, scoring 35 goals in all competitions. The striker’s winner at Crystal Palace last weekend was also the 150th goal of his club career.
Due to Kane’s prolific form in front of goal for the past three seasons, he has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga and European champions Real Madrid this summer.
Ronaldinho believes that the 24-year-old is a top-class player and is capable of playing for any of the world’s biggest clubs.
“Harry Kane has been a great player for a while now – but there is no doubt this season he has hit a new level,” Ronaldinho was quoted by the Daily Mirror.
“He is now at the level where any team in the world would want him – he could walk into any team in Europe.
“Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, it doesn’t matter how strong the team, he is now one of those few players in the world that any team would have to make room for if they had the chance to sign him.”
Kane has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the last two seasons and could make it three this season if he continues his blistering form.
While we are keen to keep the England international, Ronaldinho, two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, said that clubs of late have shown that they would pay anything and everything to sign world’s top talents.
“Over the last windows we have seen that the biggest clubs in Europe have paid whatever fees needed to sign the best players in the world,” he added.
“For maybe four or five clubs they are now at a stage where the fee is not important if they want the player they pay what they have to.”
The Brazilian also backed Spurs to pull off a stunning Champions League triumph this season.
“Why can’t Spurs win The Champions League this season. With all respect they do not have the pressure or expectation on them yet in the competition that say Barcelona, Madrid, or Bayern do and that could work for them,” Ronaldinho explained.
“They don’t have the pressure on them to do it but they have the players to be able to win it – anything is possible.”
Kane is arguably the best striker in the continent and our club will do everything they can to fend off interest from Real Madrid in summer.
