According to a report by The Sun (h/t Get West London), Queens Park Rangers wonder kid Ebere Eze is being tracked by ten Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Eze started this season on loan with League Two club Wycombe Wanderers, where he netted 5 goals before returning to QPR in the winter transfer window to bolster Ian Holloway’s attacking options.
The 19-year-old has been earning a lot of plaudits this campaign and as per The Sun (h/t Get West London), Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea had sent scouts to watch the youngster in QPR’s 4-1 win against Norwich City on Easter Monday.
Eze was on the scoresheet in the 4-1 victory over Norwich – the hotshot’s second goal in 14 games since returning to Loftus Road from Wycombe Wanderers in January.
As per the report, the 19-year-old will enter the final year of his contract this summer. QPR are trying their level best to secure Eze’s long-term future in a bid to ward off Premier League interest, although there has been no significant movement on that aspect, the report adds.
The fact that his contract runs out in 2019 leaves the Championship club at the risk of losing one of their rising stars in a cut-price deal this summer.
Since returning from loan in January, Eze has been a fantastic player for QPR. The young gun has displayed that he has every tool to become a brilliant all-round midfielder in the near future.
