With the summer transfer window fast approaching, it is time for Premier League clubs to keep a close eye on interesting young stars in the market. Especially for a club like Tottenham, it has become a tradition to purchase young talent and mould them into a future superstar.

Mauricio Pochettino is an excellent manager for this. He has taken Spurs to great heights but his ability to nurture and develop young players is what that sets him apart. It is very easy to drop loads of money and assemble a team of superstars but it is a whole different ball game to develop and build a team from scratch.

Over the years, the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Harry Winks, Heung-min Son and Eric Dier have all flourished under Pochettino’s guidance and it would come as no surprise if Daniel Levy decided to recruit some fresh faces this summer.

One youngster who has been catching the eyes lately is Amiens SC midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who is currently serving a loan spell with Lyon. The fact that we are in need of a long-term successor to Mousa Dembele is quite apparent and the 21-year-old seems like a worthy option.

Besides the fact that they share similar surnames, Dembele and Ndombele also share similar skills on the field. And our fellow supporters on Twitter wasted no time in trying to convince Tottenham to make a move for him this summer.
