Tottenham could be looking to sign the Sessegnon twins should Fulham not make it to the Premier League next season.
The Evening Standard claims that any deal to bring hot property Ryan Sessegnon from the Cottagers will also include his twin brother, Steven, even though he’s not made as great an impact as Ryan.
Ryan has had an incredible season for the Championship side and the biggest clash of the season for the Cottagers sees them face Aston Villa at Wembley for a place in the Premier League next season.
The report claims that Ryan is happy to stay at Fulham should they make it to the Premier League but if they fail to reach the top-flight, the Englishman will be sold by the club.
While Ryan Sessegnon was an outside bet for the England World Cup squad, he did win the Championship player of the season, thanks to his 16 goals for Fulham. Steven has only made three first-team appearances for the Cottagers and still has a lot of potential.
Steven Sessegnon normally plays as a right-back but he can also play as a central defender or as a midfielder. In fact, Steven was part of the U17 side that won the World Cup recently and he played a starring role as he created a couple of goals in the final.
Ryan is rated at £50million and given his rising stock, he would be quite an acquisition for us. Steven might not be as big a name as Ryan but under Mauricio Pochettino, he could also turn out to be a star in the future.
All eyes will be on Wembley next weekend when the playoff final takes place and while the Sessegnon pair might want to take Fulham to the Premier League, we might end up as the winners should the side not make it.
There is no doubt that Ryan Sessegnon is Premier League quality and hopefully, Tottenham can complete a quick deal for one of the hottest properties in English football.
