New Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa could use his links with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to add some quality youngsters to the Championship side.
Leeds sent shock waves as the former Marseille and Lille man was announced as their new manager ahead of the season and the Yorkshire Post claims that the Argentine will speak with Pochettino in hopes of signing Juan Foyth and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Foyth had only joined us last season and only made eight appearances for us throughout the campaign, with none of them coming in the Premier League. Carter-Vickers spent a part of the season on loan at Sheffield United and played 18 games for the side.
The pair could be taken on loan at the Championship club as Bielsa targets a challenge for the Premier League next season. While one Argentine might be looking to help another one out, sending both the players out on loan would be a bit of a risk.
In fact, Pochettino should look to give one of the two a chance to play regularly or at least be on the bench a number of times throughout the season. Carter-Vickers should be the player to stay and develop under Pochettino while Foyth goes out to work under Bielsa.
The Argentine youngster needs to play more games to aid his development and maybe this loan deal is the best option for all the parties involved.
Bielsa is rated as one of the best coaches in the world and maybe working under him can help Foyth truly reach his potential.
