Gary Neville claims clubs with £100m money could pounce on Tottenham star if chance arises

Gary Neville has come out and stated that if Tottenham were ever going to put Harry Kane on sale, the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United would snap up the English striker.

The Sky Sports pundit also stated that he could get into any team in the world and claimed that every club would want him if he was available for sale.

The former Manchester United man was quoted by the Express as saying:

“His performances in the last two or three years in the Premier League, his performances for England, his stature, the fact that I think if he was made available for sale every club in Europe would want him.

“That’s talking about Real Madrid, Manchester United, all the clubs that have got the sort of £100m-odd, would want him straight away.”

The Englishman also added that Kane is “gold” when it comes to his character, mentality and said that the striker is also capable of taking the hard knocks which come with physical football.

The captain was fantastic for the Three Lions in their first game of the World Cup as he scored a brace and saved the blushes of the team, leading them to three points.

There is no doubt that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and Neville isn’t saying something that is completely incorrect.

Selling Kane seems like a far-fetched idea at the moment as the Englishman only recently signed a new deal with us. The next step for us is picking up a few trophies with the Englishman leading the way.

A few quality signings should help us close the gap on Manchester City and hopefully, a good World Cup for our English core will be the perfect launchpad for an assault on the Premier League title and more.
