Inter Milan have reportedly submitted a player plus cash bid for Mousa Dembele, according to Calciomercato.
The Belgian has been linked with a move away from Tottenham and given that he is 30 years old, it does seem likely for us to sell him.
The report claims that the Serie A giants have submitted a €12m offer and are willing to offload either Matias Vecino or 29-year-old full-back, Danilo D’Ambrosio.
However, Tottenham believe Dembele is worth much more but Inter are unwilling to meet Spurs’ demands.
It goes without saying that Dembele is set to leave the club this summer. Although we are getting something from Inter, we can undoubtedly get a lot more for the Belgian midfielder.
The 30-year-old is a part of the national squad that is currently in Russia for the World Cup. Hence, Daniel Levy must do everything to avoid selling him on the cheap.
We have seen how Levy deals with most transfers and with that in mind, we are guaranteed to get the right amount for Dembele as long as Inter are interested.

While it is a little disheartening to lose Dembele, he did deal with numerous injury problems last season. Maybe moving to a less physical league will help him continue playing at the top level for a lot longer. Hence, Tottenham should hold out for more and negotiate a good deal with Inter Milan.
