Fernando Llorente might not have lit up the scoring charts for Tottenham last season with just 5 goals but he has managed to kick up a storm as his agent has stated that the Spaniard would not be signing a new deal to stay in London.
Chus Llorente didn’t claim that Italian giants Napoli had bid for the former Swansea man but did praise the Italian club a lot and even said that they (him and Fernando Llorente) would be “honoured” to deal with the Serie A giants.
Llorente was signed from the Swans to provide some cover for Harry Kane and truth be told, he didn’t really do all that well last season depite getting a number of chances on the pitch.
A section of Tottenham fans certainly voiced their opinion on Twitter about the Spaniard leaving the club and most of them were pretty happy that Llorente is not looking to be a Spurs player for long.
Phew, that’s a relief, worried we would send him out on loan and pay half his wage.

Genuinely thought this guy was our answer to a second, goal scoring striker. But I guess that without regular game time it’s tough. All the best Fernando.
