Cengiz Under is being tracked by Tottenham as the Turkish youngster has made a name for himself in the Serie A, according to Turkish Football. The report also claims that Spurs are in the market for a winger but Roma are not willing to let go of the youngster right now.
The player joined AS Roma last summer and ended up scoring 8 goals and a couple of assists. The 21-year-old is still being tracked by City according to Calciomercato but the report claims that AS Roma are not willing to sell their star this summer.
The Italian side might be prepared to sell him next summer as his value could really go up if he keeps performing in the same manner.
There was a bit of a problem with the City deal for Under as he would have had work permit issues in the UK. The plan was to send him out on loan to a Bundesliga side and then look to bring him to England but Roma blew all that up as they offered him a lot of first-team football.
The 21-year-old can play on either wing and is one of the brightest prospects to come out from Turkey in recent years.
Tottenham have not made one signing all summer and while Under might not be available now, we should try to bring him in as Mauricio Pochettino works wonders with young players.

Under might be a subject of a bidding war too if he plays in the same vein of form as he did for Roma last season and that would not be a great outcome for us if we are looking to sign the youngster on the cheap.
