Tottenham and Fenerbahce are close to finalising a loan deal for Vincent Janssen to return to the Turkish club, according to Aksam (h/t Turkish Football).
However, there is one problem with the move. Tottenham are looking to add a clause which stipulates that a permanent move for the Dutch striker takes place the following summer.
Fenerbahce are against including this clause in the contract despite Tottenham sending the player on loan for free.
Janssen did spend last season on loan at the Turkish club but after a bright start, he failed to light up the scoring charts.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker is back to Tottenham according to football.london but has not been pictured in any of our pre-season photoshoot or even the kit release, as we do not plan to keep him at the club this season.
It would have been a decent option to have him in the side as cover for Harry Kane, however, the youngster has failed to take the chances that have been provided to him at Tottenham and in Turkey.
It is not best news for us that Fenerbahce not willing to include the permanent signing on clause as Janssen does need to play football on a regular basis to keep himself sharp.

While Spurs have not brought in anyone this season, we haven’t seen anyone leave either and unless we get rid of some of the deadwood, it would be tough to sign new players before the end of the transfer window.
