Former Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has claimed that Spurs will finish in the top-four again but will just miss out on the title.
The Bulgarian was quoted by Football.London where he suggested that his other team from England would win the Premier League.
“The top four will be the same as last season but in this order – Manchester United, Spurs, Manchester City and Liverpool.
“This year I hope Manchester United win the Premier League, because obviously I used to play for them, but they have a good team and hopefully they can improve on last year’s second place finish. I am also supporting Tottenham, not only because of my history there.”
The former striker did add that it is time for Spurs to win a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino. Berbatov claimed that we have almost everything going for us with a new stadium, great team, great manager and a new training ground.
Berbatov joined United from Tottenham in a £30.7m deal and he certainly lit up White Hart Lane with some fantastic goals over the years.
The 37-year-old certainly is confident of Spurs team doing well this season, even though there have been no new additions to the side.

What we do have is a quality starting XI and a manager that gives everything for the side. We have been close in the Premier League, coming second a couple of years ago and this might be our season if we play our cards right.
