A host of Tottenham players who participated in the World Cup have returned to training recently. Our club’s official Twitter account shared a video of the Spurs stars hard at work before our opening clash against Newcastle United.

Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris could be seen going through the paces with a number of other stars as well.
Tottenham must do better than what they did last season. While we haven’t added any fresh faces to the team this summer, we haven’t lost any of our players either.
Some of the Tottenham fans were excited at seeing most of our top players back in action while a few fans still called the club out for not bringing in any signings on Twitter. Here are some of the best reactions:
Welcome back lads – let’s kick on & use the good World Cup most of our first team had as a catalyst this season.

Good enough first XI for top 4 and CL knock-out stage. Injuries, cup runs, int’ls will test our squad depth. One or two new faces and a resurgent Winks, Moura, Wanyama will push us on. Surely UCL, capital living, Poch, and a new stadium would be enough to attract someone tasty?
