Danny Rose is looking to seal a move away from Tottenham to Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Sun.
The report claims that the English defender also attracted the interest of Bundesliga runners-up Schalke but moving to Paris is his preferred option.
The English left-back played at the World Cup as the Three Lions finished 4th but the Sun adds that Rose has been told by Tottenham that he can leave the side. PSG are after a first-choice left-back and are interested in the 28-year-old Englishman.
The report also claims that Schalke wanted the Englishman on loan and had spoken to Tottenham earlier in the week too.
Rose has not sealed a move away from Spurs yet, but the transfer windows in the other European leagues is open until the end of the month. The report adds that Rose has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham behind Ben Davies, even though he is Tottenham’s longest-serving player right now.
Injuries also curtailed his season last year but he still was able to make it to the World Cup.
Tottenham didn’t do any business in the transfer window this summer and created history too. The Daily Mail reported that we became the first team to not bring in a player in the summer window of the Premier League.
Davies certainly had a great season for Tottenham last year but if we are to let Rose join another club, it would leave us short of left-backs.

Hopefully, Mauricio Pochettino has a plan to deal with the transfer of Rose, should it take place in the coming days.
