Spurs attacker Son Heung-min has claimed that the club made his dream come true and that Tottenham is home for him.
The 26-year-old will be travelling with the South Korean national side for the Asian Games (as per Football.london) and was quoted as saying,
“I am really thankful to Tottenham because they gave me this new contract. It didn’t take too many things to sign this new contract because they make my dream come true.
“I played in Germany and they made me an offer to join the Premier League. So I am very happy. There is nothing more to say other than for me Tottenham is my home. I feel very comfortable here.”
The South Korean did not start against Newcastle but the 26-year-old did come on as a substitute and got 10 minutes under his belt.
Son has been one of our top performers in recent seasons. The South Korean scored 12 times and provided 6 assists last season in the Premier League and he would want to increase that tally this season.
