Tottenham ready to send unimpressive Frenchman on loan – player considering his options

Georges Kevin N’koudou

The Daily Mail reports that French winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou will be allowed to join Mainz on a season-long loan by Tottenham.

The 23-year-old joined us from Marseille in 2016 but has not made a single league start for us and was even shipped out on loan to Burnley in the second half of last season.

The report adds that the player is considering his options before the end of the transfer window. N’Koudou has made 23 appearances for us in all competitions but has failed to become a regular at the club.

The 23-year-old played for us during the pre-season and even impressed against the likes of Barcelona. But he has only scored one goal for us, which came in the Champions League last season.

The French winger is one of the players who should be offloaded from the side as it is unlikely he would feature in our first-team plans regularly.

The player would also want to play regular football, so a move away from the club should suit all parties involved.

N’Koudou could have been a great talent for us as he is young and has loads of potential but for some reason, it just has not worked for him in London.

Hopefully, a move away from Tottenham revives him. A loan deal would be the best solution but we will have to wait and see as to what happens to the 23-year-old.
