Tottenham have confirmed that Vincent Janssen has undergone a minor foot surgery and that the player is set to be out for a period of time.
A tweet from the Spurs account added that the Dutch striker will undergo rehabilitation with the help of the medical staff.

Janssen spent last season on loan at Turkish club Fenerbahce and the striker was linked (h/t Football.london) with a move away from Tottenham in the transfer window.
The Dutchman has struggled to score during his time at Tottenham and it will be interesting to see what his future holds after this latest injury.
Janssen only scored 6 goals in his first season at the club and was shipped off to Turkey. The 24-year-old scored five in 17 games for the Turkish giants but injuries cut short his time on the pitch last season.
Some Tottenham fans were surprised that Janssen is still here and shared their responses on Twitter.
Oh he’s still here.

Fans been rather harsh considering……
It didn’t work out for him at Tottenham, same can be said for Bobby Soldado, both players gave 100% though yet fans love Soldado but think the opposite about Janssen. #Strange. #COYS
