Tottenham youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers is wanted by three Championship clubs, as per the Mirror. The USA international has made four appearances for us and is yet to play a Premier League game for us.
The report claims that Ipswich, Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday all want the central defender. Carter-Vickers spent time on loan at two clubs last season. The Swans want the USA international on loan as they face a shortage of fit central defenders this season, as per the Mirror.
The first half of the last season was spent with Sheffield United while he played for Ipswich in the second half of the campaign. Carter-Vickers played 17 games for Ipswich last time while he made the same number of appearances for Wednesday too.
The youngster might find regular playing time hard to come by at Tottenham this season as we have Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth in their ranks.
Carter-Vickers played a number of games for us in pre-season and was even quoted by the Evening Standard as saying that he wanted to get into the Tottenham side.
Sealing a move away would be great for Carter-Vickers’ development and playing in the Championship will make him a tougher defender too.

The 20-year-old knows the second-tier of English football well from his previous stints. With the transfer window open until 31st August for loan deals, we should look to complete the move for Carter-Vickers as quickly as we can.
