Tottenham’s clash against Manchester United is the pick of the games this week in the Premier League. Spurs have won their opening two clashes while United lost their last game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino was speaking to the press (h/t Football.london) prior to the game and was asked about the chances of Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele staying at the club.

“I am working like if all the players will still be here. I cannot work thinking if they are going to be here tomorrow or not. Not only these names, different names. Can arrive an offer from a different club for number one, number 26, 27, 28 – players that we have.”

The gaffer added that the club would consider should an offer come in. The manager was further asked about Rose’s chances of getting game time.

“Look I don’t want to talk about individual players who still haven’t played. They are in the squad and they will have opportunity to play. I am not going to explain my decision. You need to talk about whether he play on Monday, or maybe not. You need to wait and see what is going to happen.”

Pochettino added that despite United’s defeat, he has immense respect for Jose Mourinho. Playing against United is never easy and the Red Devils would want to put up a show for their fans after the shock loss against Brighton.
