Danny Rose could be open to a move to Marseille, as per the Daily Star. The English left-back has not played for Tottenham this season and the report claims Rose’s place in the England team is under threat.
The Englishman did participate in the World Cup with the Three Lions but the report claims that Rose’s place in Gareth Southgate’s team is a doubt. The manager is set to name the squad for the friendlies against Switzerland and Spain.
The report adds that the Spurs man was linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Schalke in the summer but it is difficult to see those moves working out.
Mauricio Pochettino is also open to Rose joining a club abroad before the end of the transfer window, according to the report.
The Englishman played 10 games in the Premier League last season but his time on the pitch was limited due to a number of injuries.
Rose’s place in the team was taken over by Ben Davies and the Welshman has gone from strength-to-strength, becoming our first-choice left-back in the process.

Tottenham don’t have a lot of experienced cover for Davies should we let Rose leave. However, a move away seems like the only way possible for the Englishman to get regular playing time this season.
