The starlet has played for a number of England youth teams – right from the U16 side all the way to the U20 side – and even picked up the U19 European Championship in 2017.
The 19-year-old made a single appearance for Spurs a couple of seasons ago in the League Cup. However, he should receive adequate first-team minutes with the Dutch side.
Edwards is one of the brightest players we have in our youth setup and a number of Tottenham fans wished him luck as he embarked on a new journey.
Hopefully this time it can be a good loan

Please let this be the move that gets him back on track to get a shot at our first team. 🙏 Good luck @marcusedwards__ !

Best of luck to the player, he has far too much potential to not go on to be a top, top player for us.
If he can just knuckle down and apply the right attitude there’s absolutely no reason why he can’t work his way to a place in the Spurs first-team under Pochettino.

I was panicking we sold him when I saw the notification

I think this is going to be his last chance. Not in football, but if he ever wants to make it at Spurs, he has to do well now
