Tottenham have confirmed that the clash against Manchester City scheduled for 28th October will take place a day later at Wembley on Monday, 29th October.
A release from the club stated that there is another sporting event on 28th October, meaning the game against the Cityzens will be pushed a day back.
The club apologized to fans of both sides for the inconvenience caused and added that our new stadium could have been ready for the clash but they did not want any confusion to crop up later.
The game against City will kick-off at 8:00 PM and the club even announced refunds for season ticket holders.
The club thanked all parties involved in ensuring the game isn’t affected much with the FA, Premier League, Manchester City and Sky Sports involved.
Our Champions League home matches are also set to take place at Wembley, as per the release.
Tottenham face a tough group featuring Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven and our first home game is against the La Liga side on 3rd October.
Eindhoven travel to London on 6th November and our last home game will be on 28th November against Inter Milan.
Although it would have been great for our stadium to be ready for these clashes, it is good that we know the venues beforehand as it will help fans with their travel plans.
