Two goals from Christian Eriksen gave Denmark a 2-0 win over Wales in Aarhus in the Nations League.
Eriksen, 27, scored in each half to make it 15 goals in his last 18 appearances for Denmark. It was Wales’ first defeat in the Nations League and that brought Ryan Giggs and co. back to earth after they opened the tournament with a fantastic 4-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland.
Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Eriksen opened the scoring for the hosts with a low drive, before scoring the penalty to continue his astonishing run in international football.
Eriksen has been a fantastic servant for our club, regularly dishing out impressive performances since joining from Ajax. He is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and continues to do his job diligently. He has carved a niche for himself, cementing his place in the first XI.
The Dane quietly pulls the strings in the midfield while finding pockets of spaces between the lines. He is indeed a special player.

Pay the guy what he deserves. 200k+bonuses is more than worth it. After the stadium chaos and incompetence by Levy to sell or buy players this summer that would be the least anybody could expect. If you still fail to do so Lewis must ask this guards to kick his ass out of Spurs

Hopefully he continues his scoring form in Premier League!
