Tottenham have entered the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot, according to Paris United (h/t Bleacher Report).
The report claims that Rabiot will be a free agent at the end of the season and “tentative” talks have already been held between the player’s representatives and the club.
Bleacher Report claims that the player had spent time at Manchester City’s academy before PSG signed him in 2010. The 23-year-old has become one of the best in the club and it would be a big blow for the side to lose someone of his talent.
The French midfielder wasn’t part of the side that lifted the World Cup in the summer. The report adds that Rabiot is a player similar to Mousa Dembele.
Tottenham would face a lot of competition for the 23-year-old as he has the potential to be one of the best in the world but we must sign him on a free.
Rabiot is free to speak with foreign clubs in January and we should go all out, given we need not pay any transfer fees.
