Marcus Edwards had a decent outing after he turned on the style for his new club Excelsior in the Dutch league.
The 19-year-old is a talent for Tottenham but things have never worked out for him. Edwards spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwich City but only made one appearance, before returning to Spurs.
His debut for Excelsior was against ADO Den Haag but the Tottenham starlet only got 10 minutes as he came on as a sub for his loan club.

The 19-year-old seems to have a lot of tricks up his sleeve. However, he needs to work on his final product.
Time and again in the clip, we see him create an opening. But for some reason, his final ball is either too high or he doesn’t have the pace to cause the opposition trouble.
There is also this moment when he feints and a number of players fall for the trick.

Sending Edwards out on loan has provided the Englishman with a chance to finally showcase his abilities. Tottenham could do with a rising star in the ranks next season. However, the Englishman has to start more games for Excelsior and star in a few games.
