Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood does not believe a mid-season switch to our new stadium would be a problem for the side.
Spurs were expected to play Liverpool at the new ground but the Evening Standard reports that there is no set date for the completion.
Sherwood was quoted by the Evening Standard as he claimed that Mauricio Pochettino would have worked with the side regarding a possible move.
“I don’t think it would be a disruption to the players or management at all, I think Mauricio [Pochettino] has made it quite obvious that he’s not using it as an excuse.
The former Spurs player further wanted the stadium to be ready quickly but also added that it should be perfect before opening.
“Everyone would want the situation sorted, more so for the fans, but from a playing perspective you just get on with it, you play where you’re asked to play and certainly from Pochettino he wants the situation sorted but there won’t be any excuses.
“I think they can cope with it and then when they move it they just have to make sure the stadium is right, as I’m sure it will be.”
Tottenham have played their home games at Wembley this season and will play their Carabao Cup home fixture against Watford at MK Dons.
Playing at Wembley hasn’t been an issue for us but we would all like some clarity about our new stadium.

There have been a number of delays so far but hopefully, upon completion, it will be one of the best in the world.
