Tottenham started their Champions League campaign in the worst possible manner. Prior to the San Siro outing, we lost our last two games in the Premier League and Mauricio Pochettino made a number of changes.
The first half was a bit iffy as both sides tried to measure each other up. Christian Eriksen scored via a deflection to give Tottenham the lead in the 53rd minute.
And Spurs looked comfortable with Inter barely threatening our defence. However, things turned dramatically as Mauro Icardi scored an incredible volley from outside the box in the 85th minute.
A draw would not have been a bad result but we allowed Matias Vecino to nod in an unchallenged header in the 92nd minute.
This result was our third loss on the spin and as expected, a number of fans were upset since we should have won the game.
First-time Mauricio Pochettino has lost three consecutive games in charge of Spurs.
As much as we adore the bloke hopefully it is a wake-up call for himself aswell to take a long hard look at his timing of the substitutions along with his overall in-game management.#THFC #COYS

I guess not signing any players for a team who has won nothing with players who are clearly too comfortable and tired was a good idea yeah?

No signings, stadium delay, ST holders having to rebuy tickets for every game, Wembley for home games, travelling to MK midweek, 3 straight defeats, Poch talking about cows in interviews….

I’m getting sick of the meltdown and negativity. We have what we have until at least Jan. deal with it and stop piling on futile pressure

I feel like this whole thing about a 150 million pound war chest for signing new players was more of a 150 million pound lie
