Tottenham are facing dressing-room discontent regarding Harry Kane’s mammoth £200,000-a-week contract, according to the Sun.

The report adds that Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Christian Eriksen want improved deals that match the Englishman’s wage rise.

Kane is one of the best players in the world and has a six-year contract, as per the report. The 25-year-old hasn’t been at his best this season but is regarded highly by his Spurs teammates.

The report further claims that the trio of Tottenham stars is looking at a 40 per cent hike in their salaries but Daniel Levy isn’t willing to accept the demands.

Eriksen isn’t willing to commit to a new contract until the club ups his pay while Rose is frustrated at the lack of starts and is willing to leave the club, as per the report.

Alderweireld only makes £60,000 a week, as per the Sun, and is willing to leave after being left out of the side for most of last season.

Keeping Eriksen and Alderweireld is crucial to the side

Eriksen is one of the best players we have and we should do everything to keep the Dane. The same goes for Alderweireld as it will be difficult to find someone of his calibre for cheap in the transfer window.

Rose isn’t first-choice anymore and we might do alright even if we lose the Englishman.

If Tottenham want to remain strong, they have to pay big money for their stars. Losing Eriksen and Alderweireld would be a huge blow to the team and Levy should just give them whatever they want.
