Tottenham have joined the race for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to the Mirror. The Serbian was linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer but could not seal a deal from Lazio.
The 23-year-old is one of the stars in the Serie A and has a goal and an assist to his name from six league games this season.
The Serbian can play as an attacking or defensive midfielder and even took his national side to the World Cup in the summer.
The 23-year-old scored 12 times and provided three assists in the league last season and has seen his stock rise over the past year or so.
The report adds that Liverpool and Manchester City were also present with Tottenham as they watched Lazio beat Genoa 4-1. Milinkovic-Savic scored in that game and the trio of clubs are considering making a move for the 23-year-old.
The Italian club believes they can keep hold of their star and get him to sign a new deal and the report adds his current contract expires in 2022.
Milinkovic-Savic would be a great addition to the Spurs team as we have a few ageing players in Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko.

However, the Serbian will not come on the cheap and if there are a number of clubs interested, Lazio would expect a bidding war for the 23-year-old.
