Tottenham face another mammoth clash this time in the Champions League as we look to pick up our first points in the competition.
Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Inter Milan in our opener and will face a tough Barcelona side who won 4-0 against PSV Eindhoven.
The Catalans will be without a couple of players due to injuries and suspensions but Spurs have problems too as Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele have injuries.
Spurs have to be at their best if they are to get one over Lionel Messi and co. and here is our predicted line-up for the game against the Catalans.
Predicted Tottenham XI
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Mauricio Pochettino
Paulo Gazzaniga (GK)
The Argentine has been excellent for us in the previous three games and has to be at his best to keep the Catalans out.
Kieran Trippier (RB)
The right-back hasn’t carried his World Cup form into the new season but is a better defender than Serge Aurier.
Toby Alderweireld (CB)
Alderweireld was one of our better players in the win over Huddersfield and should start at Wembley.
Davinson Sanchez (CB)
The Colombian needs to be in top form if we are to keep Barcelona out and it will be a test of his abilities.
Danny Rose (LB)
The Englishman has been a better left-back than Ben Davies and should start for the side in this game.
Harry Winks (CM)
Spurs face severe problems with Christian Eriksen also out and we could see Winks start against Barcelona.
Eric Dier (CM)
Dier hasn’t had a brilliant season so far and the midfielder has to be at the top of his game to win the midfield battle against the Catalans.
Son Heung-min (AM)
The South Korean has failed to kick off from the Asian Games Gold he won but we need him to be at his best at Wembley.
Lucas Moura (LAM)
The Brazilian had a great start to the season but has fizzled out in the previous games.
Erik Lamela (RAM)
The Argentine has been excellent for Tottenham this season and with numerous injuries to the team, he should start this game.
