Tottenham are ready to enter the race for Adrien Rabiot in the January window, according to the Mirror.
The French midfielder will be out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. And the report claims the 23-year-old has rejected numerous contracts from the French giants.
Rabiot would be free to speak with non-French clubs in the winter window and the report adds that Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in the talented midfielder.
The 23-year-old has the potential to be one of the best in the world and there is no doubt that he would be a quality addition to the Tottenham side.
Spurs have a couple of ageing midfielders in Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko and we need to think of bringing in a few fresh faces into the side.
Rabiot could come on the cheap but a bidding war cannot be ruled out with the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona interested.
The midfielder could reach his potential under Mauricio Pochettino and it will be interesting to see how things progress in the coming months.
PSG have time to thrash out another contract for the 23-year-old but Rabiot has to make a big decision about his future.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was quoted by RMC (h/t Mirror), speaking about how important the player was for them.
“He is essential for our approach. It is very important to have footballers of this nature.”
